MagicBox had a thing about this a while ago. It's not Battle Arena Toshinden; it just happens to be called Toshinden. Although I do miss me some Sofia and Vermillion action from BAT2.

Rich, I've been lurking here, but never posting cuz nothing interesting to me has been going on.
And why does the video say it's Battle Arena Toshinden and the thread say it's Battle Arena Toshinden if it's not Battle Arena Toshinden?

Everyone that has posted about it has called it B.A.T. Maybe they are rebooting the franchise on the sly. Will get more info for sure.

Actually, on the topic of rights ownership. The actual Toshinden franchise is owned by Takara Tomy (which used to be called TamSoft when BAT1 came out), with SCEA (Sony) being the publisher. Rich is right in calling it a reboot of the series, as the only bearing it has to the franchise is in name alone. Unless Takara decides to throw some fan-service in, maybe a story cameo by Eiji or Gaia or having Sho and Uranus as bosses.
But why they decided to go Wii is beyond me. The same could be asked of Capcom with Tatsunoko v. Capcom, which wasn't all that hot to trot. Although playing as Frank West makes me laugh my ass off every time. Frank West, proud student of Saikyo-Ryuu. He's covered wars, ya know!

Putting any Blockbuster game on the wii is a dumb fucking move.
But Capcom does that a lot.
Resident Evil 4 and Viewtiful Joe on the Gamecube first for starters....TVC1 on the Wii, TVC2 on the wii.
Fucking retards.
