Gina Carano: Turning Punches and Kicks Into TV and Flicks

Gina Carano has gone well beyond being in ESPN as an MMA fighter. With her winning smile and good looks Gina Carano has achieved mainstream success  with appearances in Maxim and now GQ . Many people debate about her using MMA as a stepping stone towards mainstream success. To an extent I have to agree but I also know that you can only fight for so long before time catches up with you.  She realized that she can earn a lot more money being pretty then being punched in the face.

She’s gone from the locker room to the make up chair with appearances on American Gladiators and the soon to be released Haywire.

Haywire seems to be getting a positive response and if successful will catapult Gina further up the entertainment ladder.  Check out the trailer and judge for yourselves.

It is unfortunate that we may never see her fight again but if she does return to the cage there will definitely be more than just MMA fans watching.
