Brock Lesnar vs Alistair Overeem

Breakdown:

This fight could be an amazing offensive blowout between two massive human beings. Brock Lesnar is an absolute beast of a wrestler . Who to be as fast and powerful as he is, is just plain crazy. Overeem in his own right is a giant himself and a K-1 level striker who can hit you once and knock you back into your mother’s womb. The fight is going to come down too who can get their game plan going first. Brock absolutely can not take a punch he becomes a stumbling confused mess when some one starts putting leather to him. Overeem isn’t the most durable of fighters though he looks like a super hero his chin isn’t super he has been knocked out multiple times himself. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if Brock got him down and beat him up I think the smart money would be on Alistair winning by KO early in the fight probably 1st round.

Donald Cerrone vs Nate Diaz

Breakdown:

This is going to be a war between super skilled light weights who are very good in the stand up and very slick on the ground. Donald is more of a muay thai specialist with a scary mean guard game off his back, while Diaz like his big brother has a really distinct boxing style and a very good guard in his own right. I have gone back and forth on this fight for a while. Both of these fighters have very good chins so a K.O. is unlikely and the skills both of them have on the ground means that most likely there won’t be a submission. So I’m leaning towards a split decision win for Cerrone.I think his striking will be slightly more crisp and do a little bit more damage.

Jon Fitch vs Jonny Hendricks

Breakdown:

Jon Fitch  considered possibly the most boring fighter in the UFC (I personally disagree) will be taking on fellow wrestler Jonny Hendricks. Hendricks who is a wrestler by trade has knockout power in his hands and can give Fitch issues on the feet. Fitch is a wrestler clean-cut and simple, he can strike but he just chooses not to because of how good his wrestling is . I think this fight will probably be a good back and forth striking match between two wrestlers and I think Fitch will out point Hendricks to a decision win.

Vladimir Matyushenko vs Alexander Gustafsson

Breakdown:

This is your classic prospect vs veteran test fight. Vlad is an old school wrestler with some power in his hands. Alexander is the new breed of fighter who is good everywhere especially on the feet where is boxing is very crisp and powerful. If Vlad cannot get this fight to the mat then he will picked apart from the outside then put to sleep plain and simple. Gustafsson by second round t.k.o

Nam Phan vs Jimmy Hettes

Breakdown

This should be a good fight to start the main card between good two featherweight prospects. Nam Phan is a very good boxer with good ground skills while Jimmy Hettes is a submission expert. I think this fight comes down to if Hettes can take it to the ground and I don’t believe he can. I think Phan picks Hettes apart on the feet to an easy decision win.
