Last night Jon Jones showed the world that losing a round doesn’t affect him. In the first round Machida did what he normally does which is circle away, be very hard to hit, and leap in with strikes while you’re off balance. People who wanted Jones’s chin to be tested (which is stupid) got their wish sort of when Machida caught him flush while Jones was kicking and knocked him off balance. The second round was a completely different story all together as Jones was able to get a take down and open up Machida’s forehead with a perfectly placed elbow. Once the fight was stood up Jones caught Machida with a perfectly placed hook and then sunk in a vicious standing guillotine and cranked it until Machida was unconscious. I personally don’t see anyone beating Jones at 205, not Henderson he is way too slow to land the H-bomb clean, Rashad is to small, and Phil Davis isn’t a good enough striker. We might be looking at the ascension of the one of the greatest fighters of all time.

- Machida looked dead at the end of the fight it was crazy how much pressure Bones was putting on his neck

- I can defiantly see some ignorant media members using this image as a reason to say no one should watch mma ignoring the fact that other sports are just as violent
- I have no idea what Big Nog was thinking when he went for that guillotine when all he had to do is land some more punches and he would have won
- Frank Mir plays no games when he gets a submission either you tap or its being snapped your choice

- It became slightly uncomfortable to see Lil Nog beat Tito to the body until he was literally crying in the fetal position

- So the Claude Patrick vs Brian Ebersole fight was boring as all hell. I have no problem with clinch work when it leads to strikes or takedowns but these dudes where literally smacking each other
- I don’t have any idea what Mark Hominick was thinking about against the Korean Zombie. The Zombie’s main chance was to catch Hominick clean and knock him out, well Hominick made that really easy by swinging wildly with his chin in the air.
And now for my fight highlight video enjoy some violence from the Dream Catcher
