A week ago, I also got to see multiple ass-whippings handed out on the Bellator 51 card with 135lb-ers just bringing the violence in the cage. That same night I watched UFC 135, where for some ungodly reason, the UFC decided to put two Heavyweight fights on the main card. The fights were in Denver which is at high altitude. This basically means the fights turned into fat dudes slopping it up in the ring. I mean seriously, Mark Hunt is like 2 and 6 in his last 8 fights – why the fuck is he on a main card? Just to make it clear, I don’t hate Heavyweights at all. Cain Velasquez vs Junior Dos Santos is gonna be one hell of a fight, but there are only like 8 or 9 Heavyweights that are good and the rest kind of suck. My point in all this is let’s put the little guys on main card. They need to have more exposure since they are new to the UFC. I will watch an average 145lb. fight over an average Heavyweight fight anyday because the 145lb. fighters leave each other looking like this with vicious precision:

Smaller fighters are just more fun to watch as they are more technical and more exciting. Just to prove my point I am going to leave this highlight reel of the 145lb. fighters. Enjoy the violence!
