A few months back, rumors circulated as to who the final DLC character would be for Mortal Kombat, people speculated it could be Frost, Blaze and even Freddy and Jason.
We got Scarlet, Kenshi, Rain and now the final character has actually been revealed to be Freddy Krueger.
Not the 80′s iconic Freddy we all know and love, but rather, the reboot Freddy from the new film starring Rorschach (that’s his real name, right?).
As seen in the video, he has a lot of his signature attacks and dream world powers, as well as some interesting fatalities.
Personally, this is kind of corny and hokey, I’d rather would have had an MK character such as Kintaro or Cyber Smoke, but this looks like it should be fun.
Freddy drops this August as the final DLC character as far as I can tell, though rumors have it that Jason is coming too.
