1st Impression: Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

I guess I am in the minority when I say that I enjoy the Mission Impossible films. My favorite being the Mission Impossible 2 which besides being directed by John Woo had some of the best action sequences when it was released. I always wondered if the series would continue after the lackluster reception for Mission Impossible 3. With Tom Cruise getting older it was obvious that they would shift the series focus to a new protagonist to keep the franchise alive. Jeremy Renner will be continuing with the series should it continue after Ghost Protocol which is great for Renner since he needs to become a franchise player before the Avengers releases. MI: Ghost Protocol looks like a return to form for Ethan Hunt and I am really hoping it doesn’t suck. Check out the trailer and share your thoughts
