This Saturday the UFC heads to Fort Hood Army base in Killeen, Texas for its second Fight for the Troops event. The event will air live on Spike TV at 6pm PT and 9pm ET and in a odd twist the UFC will air two preliminary bout on facebook, as long as you “like” their fan page.
The second card, post merger and while it’s not stacked it is a pretty deep card as evident by former featherweight champion Mike Brown on the undercard.
Headlined by a lightweight bout between Evan Dunham (11-1) and Melvin Guillard (26-8-2), two fighters looking to throw their name into the 155 pound title mix. Guillard is riding a three fight winning streak and a win over Dunham would place him high on the ladder in the lightweight picture. Dunham is coming off a razor close lose to Sean Sherk and cannot afford to lose two fight in a row with such a deep division around him.
We started out pretty slow in 2011 going just 4-5-1 in our predictions for UFC 125. There are many tough calls on this card (as usual) and two below average picks in a row is not going to happen. Here are our UFC Fight for the Troops 2 Predictions, make sure to leave your in the comments section as well.
