Without question one of the greatest hack and slash games in recent memory is the God Of War franchise. While others have duplicated it with mixed results there have been some standouts like Darksiders that have added their own spin on a successful genre. The 1C Company looks to make their mark on this genre with a new character called Captain Blood. Check out this trailer and decide if this is another hack and slash ripoff or a new player that’s ready to give Kratos and War a run for their money.
Looks pretty good but needs more work on the gore part if they want to compete with GOW. Come on, one of the fatalities was Blood shooting someone point blank and you saw just blood splatter and no body pieces falling off or even seeing a huge hole come out of the enemies from the gun shot.
