True Blood S3 is almost here….

True Blood, HBO’s fang-tastic vamipre drama, is coming back on June 13th, 2010 with it’s third season. I am hearing there are a lot of good (and bad) things to come for our favorite residents of Bon Temps, and couldn’t be more excited to see Sookie, Bill, Eric, Tara, Sam and the rest of the twisted characters back on my TV.

The past few weeks, we have been getting to see some teaser trailers from the set, as well as some still photos and new posters. Take a look.

In case you didn’t know, True Blood is based off of “The Southern Vampire Mysteries”, a series of novels by author Charlaine Harris. The more we delve into the novels, we are going to begin seeing more and more characters pop up in Bon Temps. Perhaps the most important one of the season is the appearance of Alcide. Alcide is a little different than who we have met already…but I will not spoil anything. Lafayette is getting a rumored love interest/boyfriend, and we will also meet a vampire named Franklin Mott.

I am totally looking forward to Season 3 – and we already have been informed by show producer Alan Ball that HBO has picked up True Blood for Season 4. So, if you have never watched this show, catch up on DVD, On Demand or whatever other way you can – that way we can all sink our teeth into the new episodes together.
