With 4 days to go until one of the biggest fights to start 2010, the UFC has once again done a fantastic job of providing us with some solid fights and great match ups. We are coming off the UFC debut on Versus this past Sunday, which was solid from start to finish. That, along with UFC 111 on 3/27 as well as Ultimate Fight Night and the return of The Ultimate Fighter on 3/31, March belongs to MMA. Check out the trailer for UFC 111 as well as my fight picks.
Feel free to post your thoughts in the comments or in the shoutbox. My picks will be in red as always:

MAIN CARD
- Champion Georges St-Pierre vs. Dan Hardy (for Welterweight Title)- Initially I had GSP all the way, but after watching UFC Primetime I have come to give Hardy much respect and feel he will be a great challenger to GSP. I see this fight going the distance and GSP taking it — but only after going through hell.
- Shane Carwin vs. Frank Mir (for Interim Heavyweight Title)-I like Mir and Carwin and know that both have KO power though but I feel that Carwin is hungrier and has more to prove. Carwin via decision on because Mir won’t go quietly.
- Jake Ellenberger vs. Ben Saunders-I’ve become a fan of Saunders but I know Ellenberger is a tough dude. Saunders by KO
- Thiago Alves vs. Jon Fitch– Torn on this one but I know someone is getting knocked out
- Mark Bocek vs. Jim Miller-Bocek
PRELIMINARY CARD (these fights will be broadcast on Spike TV)
- Nate Diaz vs. Rory Markham– Diaz by submission
- Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Brown- Brown by TKO
PRELIMINARY CARD
- Fabricio Camoes vs. Kurt Pellegrino- Gotta go with Kurt via decision
- Jared Hamman vs. Rodney Wallace- I’ve never seen either guy fight. No pick
- Tomasz Drwal vs. Rousimar Palhares- Palhares by decision
- Matthew Riddle vs. Greg Soto- Riddle by decision
