When you hear Ridley Scott & Russell Crowe in the same sentence you think of the masterpiece known as Gladiator. Crowe and Scott are collaborating for the fifth time to bring the legend of Robin Hood to life. To me, the Robin Hood stories never play out well on the silver screen – with the only exceptions being Robin Hood from Disney as well as both Errol Flynn and Kevin Costner’s interpretations. This newest adaptation looks to borrow from the film style of Gladiator and adds a bit more bloodshed which to me isn’t a bad thing. With an all-star cast, Robin Hood may be a suitable hero to walk in the footsteps of Maximus. What do you think? Share your thoughts below.

Wow, what a horrible trailer! it's always bad when they put modern music in a period piece. they should have focused on the story more than this being gladiator 2. not even gladiator 2. if this was the route they are going, they should have cast jason statham as robin hood!
